Erik graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Biology. Prior to joining
MDRCBB in his current role, he contributed to the lab on a part time basis since 2016.
Moving forward, Erik will primarily work with company related projects, however, being
trained to analyze surfaces by XPS, fluorescent microscopy, and dynamic water contact
angles he will likely contribute in a minor role to a variety of projects.

Janaki graduated with her BDS from Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Sanstha Dental College in India. Following this and a clinical dental rotation, Janaki moved to the US and did clinical preceptorships at UCLA and Case Western University. Her research interests at 2BI as a Researcher include the development of industrially-used biocompatible surfactants to create super hydrophobic surfaces of tooth tissues for long-term survival of dental aesthetic restorations. Janaki is passionate about volleyball, loves spending time with her family, and enjoys cooking outside of lab
