Erik graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Biology. Prior to joining
MDRCBB in his current role, he contributed to the lab on a part time basis since 2016.
Moving forward, Erik will primarily work with company related projects, however, being
trained to analyze surfaces by XPS, fluorescent microscopy, and dynamic water contact
angles he will likely contribute in a minor role to a variety of projects.

Allie graduated with a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities). Allie is currently a dental student at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She really likes being a gopher - must be the big teeth! Allie joined 2BI prior to starting dental school. Her research focused on the study of an antimicrobial peptide and biomaterial surface modification. Next, she will be exploring cell-specific surfaces for extending the lifespans of Class V restorations. Outside of the lab and school, Allie enjoys traveling, watercolor painting, and going to the lake.
